SMART ROADSTER 452   /  FORTWO 450 451
 
NEW SEAL for the petrol  tank cap. Fits all 450 fortwo and 452 roadster and will fit petrol 451's if your petrol cap looks like the one in the second picture.
The seal on petrol caps is an item tested every year at MOT time - if yours is still the original it will probably be cracked and hard = a MOT fail. 
 
This new sealing O-ring isn't identical to the old one [ see last picture - old one on the left, new one on the right ] but does the job of passing the MOT . 
It is made from a material suitable for petrol sealing applications.
 
1st Picture = new seal 
2nd Picture = type of petrol cap that this seal fits [ with new seal fitted]
3rd Picture = example of a seal that will probably fail MOT inspection
4th Picture = original and replacement seal profiles compared
