Six Rare Japanese Kutani Moriage Dragonware Cups & Saucers

A set of six Japanese moriage dragonware coffee cups and saucers. Unusual to find so many together. They are just marked 'Foreign' on the base but were made by Kutani and hand painted in Japan. They date to the Showa period c. 1920's - 1950's. One cup is unusual in that it has a lithophane of a Geisha in the base but the others are plain. One cup and one saucer have a little chip and one cup has a small hairline, please see photos, but otherwise they have survived very well for their age being such delicate porcelain. Saucer width 12cms. Cup width 6cms, height 5.5cms.
