Simplicity sewing pattern S9836, for Children's or Girls' bluebird and butterfly costumes.

Difficulty Rating: Average.

Butterfly and blue bird costumes. Dresses with fitted bodices, back zip closures and gathered skirts in mid-calf or knee lengths. Add-on wings with elastic finger loops attach at back neck with snaps and hooks. Butterfly has sheer bodice overlays, zigzag peplum and collar and sequin trim. Blue bird has fabric feathers, tie belt and feather fringe and sequin trims. Butterfly headband and blue bird mask not included.

Suggested Fabrics: Brocade, Satin, Taffeta, Tissue Lamé. Contrast A,B Contrasts 2,3 also in Sheer Fabrics such as Organza. Wing Dot Appliqué A in Felt. Interfacing: Lightweight Fusible.
