Simplicity sewing pattern S9977, for Misses' shorts. This pattern is an authentic reproduction of an original 1980s pattern, with added size options and cutting layouts.
Difficulty Rating: Easy.
Vintage Simplicity 1980’s Misses’ set of shorts pattern. Views 1 and 2 have front zipper. View 1 has waistband, yoke and pockets with front tucks. Wrong side of fabric shows when legs are rolled up. View 2 has front buttoned waistband, back elastic waistline casing and piping trim. View 3 shorts have elastic waistline casing and drawstring at sides. View 4 wrapped shorts have high cut legs, front waistband fastened in back and back waistband tied in front.
Suggested Fabrics: Broadcloth, Chambray, Chino, Cotton Types, Lightweight Denim, Linen Types,Poplin. Interfacing (View 1 & 2): Lightweight Fusible.
