Simplicity sewing pattern S3016, for Misses' 1950s skirts. This pattern is new, but the design is taken from an original 1950s Simplicity pattern.

Difficulty Rating: Easy.

 The flared Skirt is four gored and has a zipper back closing. View 1 has a raised waistline. Views 1 and 2 feature large patch pockets on Skirt front. View 2 and 3 have a waistband at upper edge of Skirt. Saddle stitching trims pockets, View 2. Authentic Vintage Reproduction includes additional sizes and cutting layouts.

Suggested Fabrics: View 1: Even Plaid or Plain Fabric - Cotton, Rayon, Taffeta, Wool. View 2: Cotton, Denim, Fake Fur, Rayon, Wool. View 3: Corduroy, Cotton, Faille, Wool. Lining: Lining Fabric (opt.). Interfacing (View 1): Hair Canvas.

This pattern is available in a choice of two size combinations; K5(8,10,12,14,16) or Y5(18,20,22,24,26).
