PFAS09    A rare double personal hand signing firstly from ballet star Shirley Grahame Kershaw from a vintage ballet autograph book which rests perfectly on the 5" x 4" souvenir undedicated and in outstanding condition.  On the other side of the page is a hand signed autograph from 1970S ballerina Carole Hill (see image 2). Please see all my other early ballet autographs from this same collection.

SHIRLEY GRAHAME KERSHAW From a local ballet school, Shirley Graham (her stage name) went to White Lodge from age 11, the Royal Ballet junior school. At 17, Shirley joined The Sadlers Wells Royal Ballet (SWRB) and after 3 years became a principal in the company.Shirley remained with SWRB company until she joined Londons Festival Ballet (now English National Ballet).  Throughout her amazing career her teachers included Miss Edwards (Vera Fedorova) Diaghilev Co.,  Leonide Massine, Mdme Kasavina, Mdme Messerer, MdmeTchernichava, Serge Grigoriev (Fokines ballet master), VassilieTrunoff, Harold Turner, Mdme Volkova, Dame Ninette De Valois.
