Seller's Description
This is an old used colour postcard of The Old Village, Shanklin, IW, posted in Sandown on 29 August 1972 (interestingly, the date in the postmark is upside down) and the card still has the 2.5p stamp attached. It was published by W J Nigh & Sons Ltd, Shanklin and Ventnor, IW, printed by Jarrold & Sons Ltd, Norwich, numbered KIW596, and apart from a very minor partial crease near the bottom left, a little scuffing to some corners and edges and some minor marks from the franking, the card is in otherwise very good condition.
