Original Belgian 14 inch x 21 inch Poster for the 1964 Lewis Gilbert Adventure THE SEVENTH DAWN, based on the novel 'The Durian Tree' by Michael Keon and starring William Holden, Susannah York, Capucine, Tetsuro Tamba, Michael Goodliffe, Allan Cuthbertson and Maurice Denham.

Political and personal intrigues surround a group of characters in Malaya, after the close of the Second World War.

Poster art by Howard Terpning. Howard Terpning was born November 5, 1927, in Oak Park, Illinois. He is an American painter and illustrator best known for his paintings of Native Americans. He studied at the Chicago Academy of Fine Arts and the American Academy of Art in Chicago. In 1962, he began working as a freelance artist creating magazine covers, story illustrations and advertising art for publications such as Reader's Digest, Time and Newsweek.
In addition Terpning completed over 80 movie posters starting with The Guns of Navarone in 1961. Other examples include Cleopatra, Doctor Zhivago, The Sound of Music, The Sand Pebbles, and the 1967 re-release of Gone with the Wind.
