Original British 30 inch x 40 inch Quad Poster for the 1969 Stanley Kramer Wartime Comedy SECRET OF SANTA VITTORIA, based on the novel by Robert Crichton and starring Anthony Quinn, Virna Lisi, Anna Magnani, Hardy Kruger, Sergio Franchi, Renato Rascel, Giancarlo Giannini, Valentina Cortese, Eduardo Cianelli, Patrizia Valturri and Leopoldo Trieste.
In this comedy the members of an Italian village endeavour to hide their only source of income, one million bottles of wine, from the German invaders during World War II.
The poster art is by Robert "Bob" M. Peak (1927 - 1992). Bob Peak is best known for his developments in the design of the modern American movie poster. He was born in Denver, Colorado and graduated from the Art Center College of Design in Los Angeles, California in 1951. In 1961 United Artists hired Peak to design the poster images for the film West Side Story. The success of Peak's work on that film
