Original 1956 Argentine 29 inch x 43 1/4 inch Poster for the 1950 Ralph Pappier Soccer Drama SCHOOL OF CHAMPIONS (ESCUELA DE CAMPEONES) starring George Rigaud, Silvana Roth, Pedro Quartucci and Enrique Muiño.

The film is a reconstruction of the history of Buenos Aires Inglés High School College and the legendary club Alumni, composed of students, who dominated Argentine football in the first decade of the twentieth century and its president, the Scot Alexander Watson Hutton (George Rigaud) , first president of the Argentine football Association, considered the father of Argentine soccer.

The poster art is by Osvaldo Venturi. (1900 - 1989).
Osvaldo Venturi studied at the National Academy of Fine Arts where he graduated in 1923. In the period between 1940 and 1950 he became the most prolific Argentine poster designer.

The poster is in very good folded condition with a tear at the top right corner and the top edge.
