Seller's Description

Original 1950s Re-Release Argentine 29 inch x 43 inch Poster for the 1934 Harold Young Adventure THE SCARLET PIMPERNEL, based on the novel by Baroness Emmuska Orczy and starring Leslie Howard, Merle Oberon, Raymond Massey, Nigel Bruce, Bramwell Fletcher, Anthony Bushell, Joan Gardner, Mabel Terry-Lewis, O.B. Clarence, Ernest Milton, Edmund Breon, Melville Cooper, Gibb McLaughlin, Morland Graham, John Turnbull, Allan Jeayes, A. Bromley Davenport, Bruce Belfrage, Derrick De Marney, Hugh Dempster, Arthur Hambling, Lawrence Hanray and Kenneth Kove.

18th century English aristocrat Sir Percy Blakeney leads a double life. He appears to be merely the effete aristocrat, but in reality is part of an underground effort to free French nobles from Robespierre’s Reign of Terror.

The poster is in very good folded condition. There is a tear at the left edge. There is a small piece out of the bottom right corner. There are corner pinholes. There is a small hole dead centre.
