Detailed Condtion : Inside the condition is very good - the scales, weights and case are clean. On the the outside the case material is faded. The steel closing buckles have some rust.

This antique measuring scales set in brass material and purple velvet case is a one-of-a-kind addition to your scientific collectables. Perfect for weighing ingredients in your kitchen measuring 100 grams, these scales come with a set of brass weights. The scales are in excellent condition and have been well-preserved over time. A true gem for your collection, these scales are sure to charm collectors and scientists alike.
Brass Scales and Weights Set
- Set of scales and weights in brass.
- For measuring up to 100 grams. It contains these weights: 50g, 20g, 10g (qty 2), 5g, 2g (qty 2), 1g.
- There are also some smaller milligram weights. These are 200mg, 100mg, 50mg, 20mg, 10mg plus two unmarked ones (less than 10mg).
- The scales rest on a pole that screws into the attachment in the case (shown in the photo).
- There are also tweezers for handling the weights.
- It comes in a purple velour velvet case.
- The case measures 24cm by 13cm by 3cm.
- Inside everything is in very good condition. The brass is clean except for two small marks on one of the scales. The velvet lining is clean.
- Outside the velvet has faded. The steel buckles have some rust.
- I don't know the age or origin of these scales.
- Sold as seen.
