It was later filmed as OUT OF THE CLOUDS by Ealing studios. I WILL INCLUDE A FREE COPY OF THE MOVIE TO ACCOMPANY THE BOOK
(starring future 007 James Bond and Carry On stars
James Robertson Justice, Anthony Steele and Robert Beatty, Sid James, Bernard Lee,
Eunice Gayson and Esma Cannon).
The story is basically one of "love stories at London Airport" ; Couples are stranded by bad weather and delays. Pilots have feelings for ladies they have left behind, a smuggling ring is in action and Customs are on the look out...We also see the day to day life of the BOAC Duty officer-and how hectic THAT is!
This is a very rare book to find. Ive only ever seen one other 1st edition copy in the 1990s.
250 pages.8/10 condition. No dog ears.No tears.A little browning of page edges.
