This 423 page hardback book is one of the first to include use of Kipling's personal notes and diaries. Lord Birkinhead also interviewed many of Kipling's friends/associates that gives this biography a greater insight. The book is in good condition but there is wear to the dustjacket (see photos of actual item). Perfect reading for fans of the author & poet (Jungle Book, Just So Stories, Gunga.Din, Mandalay)
