Original British 10 3/4 inch x 8 1/8 inch Trade Advertisement from Kinematograph Weekly August 26 for the 1954 Renato Castellani Romantic Drama ROMEO AND JULIET, based on the play by William Shakespeare and starring Laurence Harvey, Susan Shentall, Flora Robson, Norman Wooland, Mervyn Johns, Bill Travers, Sebastian Cabot and Lydia Sherwood.
In Shakespeare's classic play, the Montagues and Capulets, two families of Renaissance Italy, have hated each other for years, but the son of one family and the daughter of the other fall desperately in love and secretly marry.
