Seller's Description
CHAU0103 Antique circa 1950s large 9" x 6" photo of Bantemweight Champ Robert Cohen with his wife Zita - please note this has a very strong crease all the way down the middle - there were album notes from the former boxer who collected these souvenirs and he believes Robert Cohen folded the photo in too in order to try and block out his wife !!!! Robert Cohen was married in 1954 so this is the approximate date of the photo. Bar small places it is otherwise in very good condition but the crease means I have to grade fair and please allow.
This has come from an antique private collection from a leading boxer of his early items including photos, promotional cards, postcards, flyers, autographs etc - please view his collection and much more boxing memorabilia listed at my store.
