'Fire Detector Operated' Remote Indicator is designed for fire detection systems requiring local indication of an individual or group of fire detectors in alarm utilising an LED with a wide area of illumination and on/off contrast with clear bold red text, using a purpose designed white ABS fire retardant plastic moulding. Single gang - Flush mounting, which can also be surface mounted using a single gang box if required, (not supplied) Designed to provide remote indication of detector activation, i.e.: when the detector is installed in a void or other inaccessible areas; It will operate with the majority of addressable and conventional 2 & 4 wire fire alarm system detectors, eliminating the requirements to stock two types of indicator. Wide operating voltage - (Vdc) 5 to 28, nominal current consumption 24 mA, IP24 rated and so can also be used for other uses, security and process control applications that require a local visual indicator.
