*RARE* c1906 W H G KINGSTON "HURRICANE HURRY" NAVAL OFFICER JOURNAL BOOK (P4)

Great antique hardback book by W H G Kingston which is Kingston writing from a journal given to him in the 1850s by a naval officer who later became an admiral. Much of the journal is as it is written in the book but Kingston did embellish parts so this is non-fiction with a few bits of fiction here & there. No publication date but photo 15 shows a presentation label from 1906 and a personal home library label on the inside cover. Photo 16 shows a bit of wear to the top of the cover spine but it does not impact on the pages inside. Photo 17 shows foxing on the side of the book and photo 18 shows foxing on two initial pages. Some pages (mainly initial pages) have foxing but binding and other pages inside are in nice condition especially as the book is around 117 years old.
