*RARE* 1936 1ST EDITION PAUL SIPLE "SCOUT TO EXPLORER" BYRD ANTARCTIC BOOK (T4)
Great *RARE* vintage 1ST EDITION hardback book from 1936 by Paul Siple on his experiences joining the Byrd Antarctic expedition. Contains photos. Published in the USA. Photo 20 shows one loose illustrated page. Photo 21 shows a gap between the cover spine and pages (NOTE: this is common in old books. The cover is still attached fine due to the endpapers and there are no loose pages but the binding feels a bit wobbly). Photo 22 shows an old price in pen on the top right corner of the front cover. Photo 23 shows a white stain/mark on the back cover but other pages inside are in great condition especially as the book is 87 years old.
