Great *RARE* antique biography fine binding hardback book from 1845 which also includes an examination of his work. No author stated but research shows that the author is Thomas Carlyle. Photo 17 shows pen writing from 1849 on the inside cover. Binding and other pages inside are in superb condition especially as the book is 179 years old.

Measures 19cm tall x 11.5cm wide x 2.5cm thick. Weighs 350 grams.
