Excellent condition. Dated 28th July 1987. Press stamp on reverse.
Madraco, a gelding by Hot Spark, winning the Stewards' Cup at Glorious Goodwood 1987 for trainer Peter Calver and jockey P. Hill. He won by four lengths, the most important of his seven career wins. His racing career was cut short by a horrific injury sustained in a pile up in the Portland Handicap at Doncaster in 1989, the fall also resulting in injuries to jockey Paul Cook who eventually won damages against the racecourse.
