Chameleon
Intriguing yet simple is how I describe this block. Can you see the pentagons and hexagons? (see pictures) How about the bowtie, the hour-glass figure, and the fish? Developed based on a challenge from a quilting friend, this is another way to use the Clearview Triangle 60° ruler. I hope you enjoy it as much as I have.
This block is similar to another popular design with a different twist. By alternating the block with its mirror image multiple designs are possible, thus the name Chameleon.
Notice that points are meant to align. I’ve included tips to make this simpler. To be successful, have fun with the process, follow the instructions to the best of your abilities, and let the points fall where they may. Chelsea’s and Kevin’s quilts are their first. I’m sure yours will look great, too!
