Very Rare Original 1947 Polish 23 inch x 33 inch Poster for the 1943 Weyler Hildebrand Swedish Musical QUEEN FOR A NIGHT (HANS MAJESTATS RIVAL) starring Gurli Lemon-Bernhard, Gösta Kjellertz, Inga Brink, Torsten Winge, Hilding Gavle, Åke Söderblom, Thor Modéen, Gösta Björling, Anna-Lisa Baude, Weyler Hildebrand, Stina Sorbon, Åke Claesson, Kotti Chave, Magnus Rudbeck and Carl-Gunnar Wingård.
A young man Lars returns home after being Italy on a scholarship from the Swedish king, Gustaf III. On his way home he meets with opera singer Antoinette and falls in love with her whilst his fiancee Eva expects him home any day.
The poster art is by Werben. Pseudonym of the company ‘W. Wegnerowa and W. Borowska.
The poster is in very good folded condition with minor edge tears and surface creasing.
