All items offered are genuine release (usually 1st), old, cinema movie items and so had a 'life' before sale, so unlikely ever to be mint.

This item:  A PRIME COLLECTABLE. An original painting in acrylics for a UK Quad poster for Hammer's final Quatermass movie; this is a detailed pre-production item, whilst retaining much of the final Quad's imagery was conceived before the Quatermass role was known, so the image of Quatermass here seems to be Chantrell himself. Signed by Chantrell. Tom Chantrell (1916 - 2001) was, of course, a pre-eminent artist for British Quad posters and as such is highly collectable. The item is on board with a glassine cover for protection (see 2nd - 3rd photos). I have included a photo of Chantrell with two pieces of his artwork including this piece. Such pieces are rare / unique.  A great item for the collector and would look stunning framed.  Unique one off

Size:    16.50 x 11.75 inches approx. (to outer border)

Condition: (Range from Fine – Very Good – Good – Poor with ++ to - - for further differentiation) :  Fine - / Very Good ++   -:   very good corners and edges with light wear; overall a very good copy of a rare collectable.   Light reflections on the left of some images are from a window and NOT on the original which is of consistent colour density.
