Its energy efficient ARM CPU means the box draws as little as 3 Watts of power at idle and 5 Watts under load, so its ideal for situations where the you might want to leave it running all day without it costing a lot extra on your electricity bill.
 
It comes with Armbian Linux pre-installed on the internal 16GB storage, plus supports running various other operating systems such as Android, Ubuntu, Libreelec, Linux etc from SD card. Meaning it can be used as a alternative to a Raspberry Pi in may different projects.
