GOLDEN PHEASANT ridden by TONY CRUZ beats FRENCH GLORY and NASHWAN in the Prix Niel at Longchamp, 17th September 1989.
This was the only defeat suffered by Nashwan in his 8 race career and turned out to be his last race as connections aborted their planned return visit to contest the Arc that season. Excellent condition. Official press stamp on reverse.
