Precision Circle Cutter Jig for Proxxon Hot Wire Cutter

Welcome all model makers who require accurately cut circles  in their foam board, this is our third jig in the series for the Proxxon Hot Wire foam cutter.

This precision laser cut jig is built from Medite Premium grade 6mm MDF. It can be supplied in three options, fully assembled. pre-finished or in kit form, straight from the laser cutter.

A pin is attached to a slider so that the foam can be rotated whilst pushing it up to the hot wire, and likewise, can be rotated whilst disengaging the foam from the hot wire. The available circles are from 2cm to 30cm diameter marked in 1cm steps

In the fully assembled option, the jig is sanded, sealed and the top face lacquered for a smooth sliding action. The pin is fitted and glued into the slider.  

The pre-finished option comes with the parts either sanded to remove all residue or with masking tape on the front face to keep a clean finish.

In the kit option the parts are supplied straight from the laser cutter for self assembly and finishing

To accompany this jig there is the option to purchase an angle setting guide for the hot wire cutter at a reduced 

The jigs are made to order and will therefore require 3 or 4 days to complete
