6""x4"" postcard G.W.R. 2-6-2T No.4555 at Staverton Bridge, C.J. Churchward introduced these engines in 1906 and they were used on passenger and freight work on G.W.R. branch lines. This engine was built in 1924 and finished its service with BR on the Ashburton branch line where it is preserved to this day
