GRADING INFORMATION
NEAR MINT Looks as good as it did the day it was printed. Absolutely no signs of wear.
VERY FINE Still looks good but there is something not quite right about it. Whatever it is that isn't quite right is not obvious and you have to look for it. Maybe it's something you can't quit put your finger on, maybe it's slight blunting to the corners, maybe it's just not a very well taken photograph. There's just something about it that prevents you calling it perfect. Whatever it is it, it wouldn't be bad enough to stop you buying it if you were getting out of the rack at the souvenir shop. A plus or minus (+ or -) sign signifies how close it is to being in the higher or lower grade.
FINE Some signs of damage like small corner creases, blunted corners, curving. Still not enough to stop you buying it if you were getting out of the rack at the souvenir shop, but certainly enough to make you look through the rest of the cards on display to see if you can find a better one. A plus or minus (+ or -) sign signifies how close it is to being in the higher or lower grade.
GOOD You probably would pass up on this in the souvenir shop, it depends on how much you want this particular card. It will probably be creased, have stray pen stokes or be stained in some way. However, I will only put a damaged card into the good grade if it will look to be at least FINE when put in an album. All I can say is look at the pictures before deciding, any damage will be shown and highlighted. A plus or minus (+ or -) sign signifies how close it is to being in the higher or lower grade.
ACCEPTABLE Will have very obvious damage and will no longer look FINE in an album, you might still want it out of interest, but you certainly won't want it for it's quality. A plus or minus (+ or -) sign signifies how close it is to being in the higher or lower grade.
POOR Everything else. I'll probably throw it in the bin but if I do feel it will be of interest to someone, I'll explain the problems and my reasons for bothering with it in the listing.
