Original French 9 1/4 inch by 6 5/8 inch Still of ERICH VON STROHEIM & ARLETTY in the 1949 Bernard-Roland Thriller PORTRAIT OF AN ASSASSIN (PORTRAIT D’UN ASSASSIN).
Erich von Stroheim plays Eric who is paralyzed after a dangerous circus acrobatic act on a motorcycle which the glamorous circus manager Christina (Maria Montez) seduces him in to trying. When Christina seduces Fabius (Pierre Brasseur) his wife Martha (Arletty) performs the act and dies.
The still is in very good condition with minor surface marks.
