Original British 12 inch x 14 inch 12 page well illustrated pressbook for the 1948 Terence Fisher Drama PORTRAIT FROM LIFE starring Mai Zetterling, Robert Beatty, Guy Rolfe, Herbert Lom, Patrick Holt and Thora Hird.
Soon after the end of World War II, a professor sees a painting in a London gallery that looks exactly like his missing daughter, Hildegarde (Mai Zetterling). Maj. Lawrence (Guy Rolfe) is the British army officer assigned to find her, though it's easier said then done. He finally locates her in a German refugee camp but quickly realizes she suffers from amnesia. Her safe return home is complicated by a Nazi war criminal (Robert Beatty) who has been hiding out with Hildegarde's unwitting help.
The pressbook is in fine condition.
