Original British 17 inch x 11 inch Trade Advertisement from Kinematograph Weekly for the 1949 Frederick Wilson Comedy POET'S PUB, based on the novel by Eric Linklater and starring Derek Bond, Rona Anderson, James Robertson Justice, Barbara Murray, Leslie Dwyer, Joyce Grenfell, Maurice Denham, Vincent Ball, Patricia Hayes, Peter Illing, Jennifer Jayne, Sam Kydd, Arthur Lowe, Anthony Steel and Philip Stainton.

An Oxford poet is convinced to become manager of the Pelican Pub, after complaining about the food and service.

The Advertisement is in very good condition with one vertical centre fold with a small hole along it.
