American Brilliant Period glass production was the last great heyday of the cut-glass craze -- and it ended about a century ago. ABP glass, hand-cut from roughly the last quarter of the 19th century to the first quarter of the 20th, was an elaborate, extremely reflective and dazzling art form that appealed to wealthy collectors. World War I commandeered the lead supplies needed for the finest glass, and the post-war Depression killed the market for luxury items. The industry never really recovered. Manufactured glass and the emerging anti-ornamental Mid-Century Modern sensibility ended the fascination with glittering facets.

Refunds will be issued if item has been returned within 30 days from the date the item was delivered and is the same condition as received. Returns must be requested and processed through . Item must be in original condition, with original packaging and tags (if applicable). Once the item is received and inspected as resalable, a refund will be made within 24 hours.
If return is due to shipping damage, buyer must comply with all requirements that USPS or UPS requires of them for returns (Ex.: keep all packing materials, let carrier inspect product, etc.). Buyer also agrees to take pictures of the broken item and box and email them to the seller. Items that are damaged via shipping must be reported within 2 days of delivery in order for a refund (this is in order to file a timely claim with the shipper)
