Seller's Description
This is a very old used black & white/sepia postcard of The Hydropathic, Peebles. I don’t know the exact age of this card as the King George VI stamp has been partially removed and the date in the postmark is no longer available, but it therefore must be from around the 1940s. It is a Valentine’s “Photo Brown” Post Card, published by Valentine & Sons Ltd, Dundee and London, numbered A.3918 and other than a couple of minor scuffs and marks (including a small cross and “our room” written beside it), the card is in otherwise good condition, with only slight scuffing to some corners & edges.
