CHA0204 A vintage hand signed letter from Patrick Walker (7 April 1907 2 December 1980) (Patrick Chrestien Gordon Walker, Baron Gordon-Walker, CH, PC was a British Labour politician. He was a Member of Parliament for nearly thirty years, and served twice as a Cabinet Minister.). He was a leading radio broadcaster where from 1942 he arranged the BBC's daily broadcasts to Germany. In 1945, he worked as Assistant Director of BBC's German Service working from Radio Luxembourg. His full career can be found on the internet and this is a full hand written letter approx 10" x 8" folded once where posted with small places to allow but very good (mostly otherwise great) condition. Patrick Walker became chairman of the British Film Institute between 1946 to 1948 for three years following his wartime broadcasting.
