Seller's Description
Sepia real photographic postcard, titled "Otway Memorial" and showing a view of a brass eagle lectern within a church. The lectern has the words "presented by her friend..." visible at the base, but despite my best, and very extensive, efforts I am unable to pin down a location, though likely to be somewhere on Jersey, maybe Town Church at St Helier, and possibly related to Lady Otway.
Publisher not stated, not numbered.
Postally used on 3 September 1912 with double circle Jersey cancellation on green halfpenny stamp and sent to Miss Burnett, Culverdene, West Cliff Road, Bournemouth.
Good condition, with slight corner bumps, but crease to top right corner.
