“Here is a leaflet that had to have impact on soldiers whose home was a foxhole. The leaflet is prime propaganda” (Boehm, E. Behind Enemy Lines, p. 26).
This leaflet was printed in two sizes: 150 x 219 mm and 90 x 150 mm. The smaller version (like the present leaflet) was small enough to be disseminated by Rifle Propaganda Grenades (Gewehrpropagandagranaten). These grenades were fired from discharger cups fitted to German rifles. They carried 30 small leaflets and had a range of 450 metres.
Paper slightly cockled and stained.
