Original 1964 re-release Italian 56 inch x 80 inch Poster for the 1949 Gene Kelly & Stanley Donen Musical ON THE TOWN starring Gene Kelly, Frank Sinatra, Ann Miller, Vera-Ellen, Betty Garrett, Jules Munshin, Florence Bates, Alice Pearce and George Meader.

Three sailors on a day of shore leave in New York City look for fun and romance before their twenty-four hours are up.

Poster art by Averardo Ciriello (1918 - 2016). An Italian artist and illustrator. Ciriello is mostly known for his work as a poster artist for Italian cinema productions. He designed his first movie posters for Lux Film in 1947, and since then provided over 3,000 drawings to many other distribution companies.

The poster is in very good folded condition in two separate sheets.
