Original British 30 inch x 40 inch Quad Poster for the 1967 Pier Paolo Pasolini Drama OEDIPUS REX (EDIPO RE), based on the play by Sophocles and starring Silvana Mangano, Franco Citti, Alida Valli, Carmelo Bene, Julian Beck, Luciano Bartoli, Francesco Leonetti, Ahmed Bellashmi, Giandomenico Davoli and Ninetto Davoli.
Rescued from abandonment and raised by the King and Queen, Oedipus is still haunted by a prophecy--he'll murder his father and marry his mother.
The poster is in good folded condition with small pieces out of all corners, minor separation at the outer cross folds, a tear at the bottom of the right vertical fold and other minor faults.
