Original Australian 15 inch x 40 inch Daybill for the 1939 Ernst Lubitsch Comedy NINOTCHKA starring Greta Garbo, Melvyn Douglas, Sig Ruman, Bela Lugosi, Ina Claire, Felix Bressart and Alexander Granach.

This satire of Russian commissar Garbo and her capitalist playboy Douglas creaks a little now, but the film remains a classic comedy of international manners largely concocted and staffed by middle Europeans sheltering in America from Hitler.

The poster is in very good folded condition apart from a an extra vertical fold 1 inch in from the left edge, plus minor wear at the left of the bottom horizontal fold. There are also one or two very minor edge nicks.
