V 2-kh chastyakh (komplekt) The book by Vladimir Vladimirovich Nazarevsky (1870-1919) reflects the history of Moscow since its foundation and illuminates Moscow landmarks, serving as a kind of tour guide to the city. The publication was intended for leisure reading and self-education, study at school, and preparation for tours of Moscow. The author of the book about Dmitrov, an archaeologist, bibliographer, and famous local historian Ivan Fedorovich Tokmakov (1856-1923) served in the Main Archives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Moscow, cooperated with a number of historical organizations, statistical committees, and had access to a number of archival documents, which he used in his work.
