The Cards were issued to coincide with the exhibition at The National Postal Museum to commemorate the Bicentenary of the Carriage of Mail by Coach. The picture is reproduced from the painting by J.C. Maggs, entitled 'Old Coaching Lines' which is the property of the Museum. The exhibition opened on the 2 August 1984
