Seller's Description
WIO* This beautiful rarely found and most specialist modern origin quirky postcard is a unique and wonderful souvenir to Nampeyo who was a Hopi-Tewa potter who lived on the Hopi Reservation in Arizona. Her Tewa name was also spelled Num-pa-yu, meaning "snake that does not bite". Her name is also cited as "Nung-beh-yong," Tewa for Sand Snake.. The souvenir is a stunning contemporary animated painting of her surrounded by her most famous works together with one of her most memorable quotes resting underneath her portrait unused in brand new mint condition.
