Garnets from this area of the world have exceptional clarity and color. I really, really, really hate muddy prune-juice-colored garbage that's passed off as nice garnets. Yuck! I just won't do it. Instead, when the Mozambique mines started producing, I focused on their material, and love every one of them. Yes, they cost a tad more, but golly, are they worth it. This ring is a nice design; Filigree flowing down the sides. A really pretty Sterling SIlver ring -- very solid construction. This is one of those rings you'll pass down to your daughter.. It is simple enough for everyday wear, yet pretty enough to wear out in the evening. Please notice the thickness of the silver in this mounting. These are substantial, without being weighty. I like my stones well protected, and I assume you do too! At SylvaRocks, this is the way we make our jewelry. We don't skimp on metal, and our stones are always hand picked.
