Garnets from this area of the world have exceptional clarity and color. I really, really, really hate muddy prune-juice-colored garbage that's passed off as nice garnets. Yuck! I just won't do it. Instead, when the Mozambique mines started producing, I focused on their material, and love every one of them. Very pretty. This is a fascinating ring -- a lot going on here. It holds three 6x4mm, 1/2 carat stones, and has all sorts of filigree worked into it. It's a really strong ring, too, with 4 grams of Sterling Silver. _________________________________________________________________________ BTW, Since we make this from scratch after you order it, we have a lot of flexibility. We can also cast this in yellow, white or rose gold, and in any of 10k, 14k, or 18k.
