There's been endless debate since the birth of Morrissey & Marshall, both within and without the band and we've come to the careful conclusion that our incredibly loyal and beautiful followers are almost split in half in their opinion on how we should sound - one side love the full band's rock n roll element, with big production and edgier live performances. The other side love the duo in all it's rawness, stripped down to the bare bones with 2 acoustic guitars and two vocals...
For that reason, one Cold November morning, we decided to record a version of our new album 'We Rise', completely live, stripped back and acoustic in one day, each track recorded in one take (mistakes and all). We've also added some bonus material including our new 60's style harmony song 'Sing To You', and an older song (and old favourite) 'One Man Band', a song I wrote when I was just 15" - Darren Morrissey.
