He is not alone in his troubles, however, for he has two faithful friends, the little girl Nicola and Gri-gri the hen. Together they share his many adventures and help to make life easier for him. How Nicola finally rescues Moro from the clutches of Farmer Stefan and makes his dreams come true, forms the exciting climax to this charming story.
