Original French 31 inch x 47 inch Poster for the 1956 Henri Diamant-Berger Comedy MON CURE CHEZ LES PAUVRES, based on the novel by Clément Vautel and starring Yves Deniaud, Raymond Bussières, Arletty, Robert Arnoux, Jean Debucourt, Jean Tissier, Pauline Carton, Annette Poivre, José Artur and Jacques Dufilho.
Father Pellegrin, parish priest of Sableuse, a village of about 2100 inhabitants, gives an old crucifix to a stranger presented by a former comrade in the war, La Goupille. He learns too late that he has been abused by a crook. Not wanting to compromise his friend La Goupille, the priest offers his bishop to find the crook and the crucifix himself. For this purpose, he swaps his cassock for civilian clothes... .
