Original 1841 9 1/4 inch x 6 1/2 inch stipple and etching of MISS DYMOKE
Portrait of Lady Emma Jane Hartwell when Miss Dymoke; three quarter length; standing, looking to left; wearing bare-shouldered dress with bow at centre; in octagonal frame; illustration to Heath's 'Book of Beauty' (1845)
Print by William Henry Mote (1803 - 1871). Line and stipple engraver on steel plates; worked in London.
After John Hayter (1800 - 1895). Born in London. Painter and draughtsman. Brother of George Hayter. Entered the Royal Academy schools in 1815, and exhibited at the R.A from the same year. Also exhibited at the B.I. and Society of British Artists. Best known for portraits in pastel.
