Description: This is a New Large 11"" inch x 8"" inch colour photograph of milk crates and a trolley rack seen here at the rear of Sevenoakes based 'French's Dairy' which operated from 156 London Road in the 1980's. The French's Dairy retail shop front was situated on the corner of the junction of the B2020 St Botolphs Road and the A224 London Road, and is now a Funeral Directors, with the actual adjoining Dairy now being a Tool Hire store, which is where the milk churns, crates and trolley are seen here, in 1988, in the dairy bay on St Botolphs Road.
A unique glimpse into an independent dairy of the 1980's and the lost industry of doorstep milk delivery .
